On this page where I share some of my non-science writing. Examining the Warmwater World covers my series of articles that appeared in Saltwater Fly Fishing magazine. These articles appear here as they were when I submitted them, and are generally a little bit longer than when they appeared in the magazine.  In each article I include the same or similar photos that appeared with the story in the magazines. On The Web is links to pieces I have elsewhere on the internet. Ramblings is a collection of short stories.

This series formed the core to my first book, Fisherman's Coast. Thanks to then-editor Art Scheck for his willingness to run this series that was (and, in general, remains) a bit different than what was running in fishing magazines then.
