I’d put myself into the ‘moderate’ category of travel. I travel more than many, but considerably less than some. Some of my travel is for work, other for pleasure, but the gremlins of travel don’t know the difference, or don’t care. The standard flight delays and airports mishaps aside, anyone who has traveled has had their share of unexpected occurrences. My experiences pale in comparison to some of the stories I’ve heard, and I’ve been fortunate that all of my travel mishaps to date have been of the humorous variety (at least after the fact). On this page I'll share some of my fishing-related travel stories. All are true, though in most cases I don’t identify the locations, and only use the real names of the people involved if it's harmless. I make it a practice to not identify my travel fishing locations, and I give my travel companions (whether planned or accidental) the benefit of the doubt on being associated with a misadventure that might be embarrassing. Check back every so often. I already have plenty of stories that I just need to write down and post, and as my travel continues I'm sure I'll add more.
